PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FAMILY PLAY GROUP WILL NOT BE OFFERED FOR THE FALL 2020 SESSION DUE TO COVID-19.

Whatever the weather, we find one another outside! Inspired by Forest School and Playwork traditions, our Family Play Group enables parents, grandparents or caregivers and their children (ages 18 months to 5 years-old) to engage with nature, exploration and child-led play. We find snails, we climb trees, play with loose parts, twigs, cardboard tubes… the world is our playground. This activity is child-led with the support of The Lion and The Mouse’s team. Through their participation, parents are invited to deepen their own connection to nature, to The Lion and The Mouse’s community of  families and to themselves.

All of our programs meet outside with the possibility to move indoors whenever we need a warm space to play. In the event of extreme weather (hail, thunderstorms, and extreme cold in the winter), the program will be cancelled and an additional day will be added to the end of the session whenever possible.

WINTER-SPRING 2020 REGISTRATION DETAILS

Age : 18 months – 5 years
Dates : January 6 – June 20, 2020 (23 play sessions over 24 weeks*)
Language: Bilingual
Cost : $368 per child, $333 for a additional children from the same family. No fee for siblings under 18 months. Snack included!
